The Operations Manager plays a central role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and professional functioning of the company’s day-to-day activities. This position supports both strategic and operational needs by overseeing office management, IT coordination, event logistics, process development, and cross-departmental support.
Acting as a key point of continuity across the organisation, the Operations Manager helps maintain high operational standards, drives improvements in efficiency, and enables teams to perform at their best.
What You’ll Do
Team Leadership: Lead and support the Operations Team through coaching, training, and development.
Conferences & Logistics: Coordinate employee attendance at domestic and international events, including scheduling, travel, accommodation, vendor liaison, and post-event reporting.
IT Support: Oversee IT systems and infrastructure, manage hardware/software implementation, administer Office365 and KPI tools, and coordinate with external IT providers.
Company Events: Support the planning and delivery of internal events to a high standard.
Cross-Company Support: Provide guidance to employees and senior management, manage the company calendar, drive efficiency and productivity improvements across departments, and handle ad-hoc operational duties as needed.
Office Management: Support the Operations Assistant in maintaining an positive office environment, including coordination with landlords, security, maintenance, and cleaning services.
Process Management: Support and manage the Process & Workflow Lead to maintain accurate, accessible, and compliant company processes and procedures.
Who You Are
A natural leader, motivator, and mentor.
Proven experience in operations management or a similar role.
Good understanding of IT systems, hardware/software implementation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Strong organisational, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work proactively and independently.
Previous experience in event management, or booking international travel.
Key Information
Salary: £50,000
Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Monday - Friday
Reporting to: Head of Recruitment and Retention
Location: London/Moorgate office, 5 days a week
