Anaya Malik
VP of Content – AMJI am the Editorial Manager, and work closely with the Editor, Editorial Co-ordinators, Editorial Assistants, and Design Manager. My job is to oversee the journal pipeline for the journals we publish, and work with the team to ensure our busy publishing schedule with podcasts, newsletters, webinars, and client content runs smoothly. I am able to help with new content ideas and process improvements, and also support our commercial team in building processes for new content created by the Editorial Team.
I am also a Mental Health First Aider trained by St John Ambulance. My role in the office is to recognise the early signs and symptoms of common workplace mental health illnesses. I have the necessary skills to have a supportive, non-judgmental conversation with those who need it, possessing the knowledge and confidence to guide colleagues to the appropriate professional support if they require it. Thus, I can promote greater awareness of mental health in the workplace and reduce stigma. I play an organisational role in the charity and voluntary work carried out by the EMJ team, and absolutely love it!
