Marketing Director- FTC
Support the growth of our ‘Gold Medal Winning’ marketing team, and deliver on our audience engagement needs in a fast growth multimedia publishing house.
We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Director to design and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that drive’s awareness of EMJ to Pharma and Healthcare professionals globally.

This will be a 1-year maternity cover contract.

Expectations
- Oversee our new marketing strategy for both our Pharma and Healthcare audiences (B2b2c)
- Drive engagement and build engaged communities across these audiences
- Devise, agree, and manage an annual marketing budget
- Mentor, train and lead a growing team of marketers
- Establish and manage new marketing partnerships and new business opportunities
- Help create best-practice ideals backed by data, implementing and communicating across the business
- Review changes to the market, audience trends and activities of competitors, adjusting the plan as required
Experience Required
- Significant senior marketing experience covering the key responsibilities
- Managed teams of more than 6 strong
- Analytical, creative thinker, comfortable pushing conventional boundaries, backed with experience and a Growth Mindset
- Able to motivate and inspire others around you, can lead by example as an authority on marketing techniques and best practices
- CIM is advantageous
- BSc/BA in business, marketing, or communications essential
- Growth mindset – always looking for opportunities to develop and improve yourself and your team

Key Information
- Salary: £Negotiable, DOE
- Reports to: Justin Levett, Chief Content Officer
- Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Mon-Fri
- Location: This role is based onsite in our London/Moorgate office
