Meet Ben, an energetic and witty team player who thrives on client calls, project management, and mentoring junior staff at EMJ. Outside of work, he’s a proud plant dad to over 50 house plants and cacti, adding a touch of green to his vibrant life.

What does a typical workday look like for you?
Typical work day is a blend of client calls, progressing projects via tasks on asana and helping train / develop junior members of the team. -
Can you tell us about what you did before coming to EMJ? How has it helped you with your current role?
I was a manager on a covid testing pipeline, we received HCP and patient tests from hospitals in North London. Most of the tests were pre-op tests so it was Important to ensure all tests were accurate as that was the difference between someone safely receiving an operation or it not taking place. -

Energetic, Charismatic, Witty.

How is EMJ different to other workplaces?
EMJ is full of life and energy and people wanting to be the best versions of themselves. The ambition at EMJ is unmatched. -
Describe your proudest moment at EMJ and explain why.
Proudest moment came at the summer ball this year – winning the silver medal for entire buy in. I bloody love this place and what we do and I am glad it goes noticed. -
What’s an interesting fact about you outside of work?
I have over 50 different house plants / cacti / succulents

How would you spend your last £1?
I would invest it in £1 worth of gold as this will appreciate in value.

Who has had the most impact on your career to date and why?
The person who has had the greatest impact on my career so far is myself but if it can’t be me then it is Alex Skedd. -
What’s your BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal)?
Build a PO box system for homeless people to help them have an address that will help them to get off the streets.
Launch a football league for prisons, as a way of providing rehabilitation but also money for when they are released but also potential job opportunities – will help reduced re-offending. Eventually multiple sports.
Launch an app - University battle = Universities compete against each other via multiple channels = Sports/ grades / app interaction – who ever wins get an EOY festival put on for them (paid by advertisements on app)
