Commercial Operations Associate
EMJ is looking for a driven and meticulous Commercial Operations Associate to be responsible for managing projects through the contracting and finance process with the goal of reducing the cash conversion cycle.

Expectations
- Review information about projects and create contracts.
- Negotiate terms with clients and request Project Exceptions and Payment Term Approvals.
- Liaise with businesses via telephone and email to ensure processes are followed for each project.
- Create and adapt contracting timelines to accommodate all stakeholders and be able to have contingency plans as needed.
- Liaise with departments internally to ensure project briefs are communicated fully and expectations are managed.
- Submit project status updates to management and stakeholders.
- Process and log client interactions into a CRM system.
- Keep abreast of changes to policies, processes and procedures.
Experience Required
Essential
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills – email, phone & face-to-face.
- Comfortable building relationships and networking with stakeholders of all levels.
- Excellent organisational & time management skills with strong attention to detail and ability to think on your feet.
- Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Desirable
- Proficiency in using and analysing data in Excel
- Experience in reviewing legal documentation
- Experience using Xero
- Degree or equivalent, relevant qualification
Key Information
Salary: £25,000
Reports to: Andy Hodding (Commercial Operations Manager)
Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Mon-Fri
Working pattern: This is a full-time office based role
