Expectations
- Write clear, accurate, and engaging scientific content (e.g. congress reports, interviews with KOLs) across a range of therapy areas.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project workflow and timely content delivery.
- Work closely with clients to ensure content aligns with their objectives and expectations.
- Research topics thoroughly to create content that is both scientifically rigorous and accessible to the target audience.
- Contribute to editorial quality by performing checks and reviews to maintain consistency and precision.
- Stay updated on regulatory guidelines to ensure all content is compliant.
Experience Required
- A degree in a scientific, medical, or healthcare-related field (MSc or PhD preferred but not essential).
- 1–2 years of medical writing experience, ideally within medical communications, healthcare, or academia.
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex scientific ideas in a clear and compelling way.
- Solid organisational skills, able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience building relationships with clients or stakeholders.
- Knowledge of a variety of therapeutic areas is an advantage, with the flexibility to adapt to new subjects.
Key Information

Reports to: Dr Hannah Moir, Senior Medical Writer
- Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Mon-Fri
- Location: This role is based onsite in our London/Moorgate office
- High Performance working: Min 3 days in the office /week (5 days during probation)
- Salary: Competitive and based on experience
